Everyone has seen the standard centerpices. Crystal vase, flowers, ribbon. Yawn… Spice things up with glass bowls with floating candles and goldfish, candles, statuary, or something that matches your theme or color in particular. In the spring, small wire gazing ball stands and a gazing ball that matches the color of the wedding on the reserved tables would look nice. In summer, potted flowers (real) that are bunched together(more than one pot) can be used as a centerpiece and then the guests can take them home and plant them as favors! In the fall, 2 ft tall scarecrows, cornicopias, and other seasonal items can be used. In the winter, there are many options. Crystal bowls filled with fake snow and ornaments (also favors), snowmen, crystal/glass statuary… just be sure to have fun with it, make it easy to clean up, and that the guests won’t think its unattractive… or distracting.
Flowers?

June 21st, 2007 by weddingangelEvery little girl wants to be a princess!
On your wedding day, you can be one. Pick out a flowing, beautiful dress, pick out light pastel colors for the bridesmaids dresses and decor, choose elegant and/or cute party favors, and let the party begin! Colors can be baby blue, light pink, light yellow, light green… Roses are beautiful in any pastel (except green, of course), and babies breath tops off any bouquet or arrangement! You could buy small clear plastic high-heel slippers (at a craft supply store or bridal shop), and fill them with M&M’s that match the colors of the wedding! You could probably even have a cake shaped like a castle! Tiered and topped with flags, with a figurine or picture of you and your beloved at the base of the castle!
It’s your special day, what could make it more special than being a pricess for a day?
